Jessi has loved movement her entire life. She grew up in Grass Valley and spent as much time in the gym as possible. In high school, Jessi competed with the team at Gold Country while also performing with an advanced dance group. She started coaching in 2012 and has coached in both California and Arizona. Her time in Arizona was spent learning from exceptional coaches and directing a circus performance group. Jessi loves nothing more than helping athletes push through boundaries and aid in making their gymnastics dreams a reality.
My name is Delilah. I am attending Jr. College locally. I competed for 7 years and have been coaching the last 2 years. My personal philosophy as a coach is to help each child be successful and achieve their own personal goals. I want them to look forward to practice. I really believe in showing positivity to everyone and telling each gymnast to always try their best.
Andrew has loved gymnastics since he was little. His coach’s strong, caring and consistent methods resonated with him in a way that has left a lasting impression. After competing with us for several years, Andrew decided he wanted to share what he has learned with the younger kids. He loves to work with the kids and hopes to
provide insight on gymnastics skills to learn and thrive in an environment of respect, discipline and fun!
Hi my name is Nathan but you can call me Coach Nate. I have been at the gym for as long as I can remember. It is practically a second home for me. I did competitive gymnastics for 11 years and I’ve been coaching gymnastics for about 2 years. At the beginning of my coaching career, I worked birthday parties and boys recreational classes. I have been coaching team for about a year now and I love every second of it. The best part of coaching the boys team is the relationships I have built with the boys.
Hi Everyone! My name is Sadie and I grew up in a small town called Plumas Lake. I've always been passionate towards working with children and helping them achieve their goals. Growing up, I spent a lot of time traveling to competitions and local gyms. I attended Wheatland Union High and was on the Varsity cheerleading squad all 4 years. After I graduated, I helped with tryouts, coaching, and practices. I have also coached multiple cheer teams that have competed in national competitions in Las Vegas, and have either placed first or top 3 out of 23 teams. In addition, I have many years of experience teaching gymnastics and tumbling to all age groups. I look forward to working with and creating relationships with all of the Gold Country Gymnasts and athletes.
I was born and raised in Southern California and moved permanently to Grass Valley in 2002. I have been married for 25 years and have four beautiful daughters. Natalie at Auburn Gymnastics gave me my start in Gymnastics over 11 yrs ago and it has been a love of mine ever since. My coaching philosophy revolves around fun. There is nothing like seeing a child fall in love with exercise and learning a new skill. I hope to bring pure joy to Gold Country Gymnastics and inspire children to do their best!
I have been a part of Gold Country Gymnastics since I was 5 years old. I worked my way up the levels to Team and enjoyed every minute of it. I decided to stop competing and start coaching last year. I love being able to help younger kids discover their passion for gymnastics, just like my coaches did for me.
Alyssa has been with Gold Country Gymnastics for over 5 years and competed most of those. She just recently decided to quit competitive Gymnastics and switch to coaching. She loves working with the kids and is eager to learn the coaching side of the sport.
Eliza just joined us after being one of our pre-team kids several years ago. She loves working with the younger kids and hopes to help them fall in love with gymnastics like she did.
Hi my name is David. I did Gymnastics when I was younger. I enjoy working with and teaching kids. The fact that I get to do this in a gymnastics setting is the best part!
Hi! I started competing in gymnastics when I was 6, and started teaching it when I was 17. My goal is to help my students find passion in a sport!
